Computing Years 5 & 6

During the Pearson Computing Course, students have experienced:

• Storyboarding and creating their own stop motion animation
• What constitutes networks and the internet
• How to recognise and protect against forms of cybercrime
• Various uses for spreadsheets
• Programming theory and practice

Through group and individual work, along with theoretical and practical exercises, students have broadened their understanding of the history of computing, its modern applications and hazards. They have been challenged to do their own research and find their own solutions to the activities presented to them.
