At Kotronis Schools, environmental education is not just a lesson but a matter of integrated education and culture. The formation of an environmental perception does not stay in theory but is reflected in everyday life through saving water and energy, recycling, composting, effective engagement with agriculture and the concrete expression of respect for the natural environment.

Aim of the environmental team of Kotroni Schools through the activities undertaken, is to raise awareness for the protection of the environment, both among the members of the school community and the citizens of the wider region. By participating in the environmental group, students perceive in an experiential and meaningful way that the environment is not only the source of our life but also receives the results of our activities.
