For the past few days, our lovely students have been expanding their knowledge about themselves and their feelings. They sang songs and danced to “happy” and “sad” music. They used their new vocabulary in a variety of activities, including a “feelings” hopscotch outside , one bright afternoon! Learning about being hungry gave us the opportunity to read “The very hungry caterpillar” by Eric Carle, a classic picture book children of all ages enjoy! Lots of fun activities inspired by the book will follow in the next few days! Phonics and writing practice also continue, as well as artistic activities, like creating noise makers and… caterpillars to decorate our classroom! We certainly feel excited about what’s next!
